Harding Place (SR-255) Sidewalks for Metro Nashville

Full-width TDOT format roadway database survey for the one mile section of Harding Place.

Harding Place (SR-255) is a busy thoroughfare south of downtown Nashville which connects Interstates 24 and 65 through predominantly residential neighborhoods. As the third and final phase of the Harding Place Sidewalk and Pedestrian Enhancement Project, completion of Phase 3 will essentially provide a much anticipated continuous sidewalk along the south margin of Harding Place from I-65 to I-24. As a sub consultant on the design team, CIA was tasked with providing a full width TDOT format roadway database survey for the one mile section of Harding Place from Danby Drive to Nolensville Pike.
The topographic survey scope included precise locations of all existing roadway and utility features within the proposed routes as well as development of an accurate digital terrain model and location of existing right-of-way and properties for acquisition of easements. CIA established horizontal and vertical control with GPS and confirmed vertical precision with differential levels.
